Wild Birds should be fed all year long. To attract a wide variety of interesting birds hang an assortment of feeders throughout your garden filled with a variety of high quality bird seed.
1. Provide water all year long : Place a bird bath or any type of water feature birds can frolic in.
2. Place bird feeders in your garden surrounded by trees and shrubs. Preferably hang them in trees so the birds are sheltered from the elements and predators. Do not place them near the ground. A bird feeder needs to be at least 5 feet off the ground.
3. Fill the bird feeders with high quality mixed bird seed
4. Clean the feeders and the surrounding area regularly
